The Bay Table

Letters to the editor

We welcome argument, and we publish the best of it.

How to write

  • Respond to a piece we have published, and name it.
  • Be brief. A letter of 150 words or fewer is likeliest to run.
  • Make one point, and make it well. Disagreement is welcome; abuse is not.
  • Include your full name and your city.

Letters may be edited for length and clarity.

Where to send

We are not yet taking letters; this page will say where to send them when we are. To report an error rather than to argue, write to corrections@thebaytable.com; see our corrections policy.
